What would be a good wood to make a computer desk with? - how to make computer desk
I'm trying to build a computer workstation for my new apartment. I'm in school, so something cheap would be nice, but I also difficult. I thought of chipboard, but it would be strong enough? Alternatives?

If you want laminate, particle board, high density is the right way. If not, go with hardwood. Catch the oak, birch, maple o. Use a piece of wood from the same species for borders. It looks good. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteIf you have a good set of tools that oak or some other use. You can use with a wood veneer, which would be cheaper. If your thinking about the particle board so that you can buy a Home Depot, since the time of purchase of the equipment being built for more.

ReplyDeleteI think the cherry is a good choice for you.Cherry is a bit tricky, and have a good density, which prevents the penetration of water and coffee / destroy your desktop.
